The drive performs as expected and at a great price. But I am extremely disappointed in the backup software. My previous WD had software that continuously backed up files as they were saved, This one only offers three schedule options and to make things worse I have yet to see it do so automatically. I have it set to a daily backup at 1:00 p.m. I have to initiate it manually even though i have the computer turned on at that time. Be prepared to backup manually. This is the first purchase that I did not rate @ 5 stars.

The WD-Easystore has worked flawlessly. It provides backup on the road, and additional storage capacity for large projects that would otherwise overwhelm my computer when I am away from my home office.

This little gadget works great for my boyfriend's PS4. It adds a lot of extra memory and is small which is good so it doesn't take up too much space. The price is also great considering it has a lot of memory space. I will be buying another one soon for my PS4.

Fast drive good for traveling. I love how small and compact this is. Love that it had options for colors so we can tell mine from others. Holds all my pictures that I haven’t even scratched the amount and cleared off laptop and phone full of years of pictures.

Does what it is supposed to do. Had a few problems with the laptop not recognizing the drive until I discovered it was the USB hub causing the issue.

Holds a ton of space. Neatly stores for travel. Talks to computer easily.

WORKED GREAT. Very easy to set up and use and it transferred the data in the blink of an eye (if eyes took minutes to blink). Seriously though it went faster than I expected and I was impressed.

Bought a newer MacBook Pro and needed an external hard drive to transfer my files from my old MacBook to the new one. This one was a great price and easy to use. Save the files to time machine through the hard drive and transfer to the new one.

This external drive is easy to use, and works well to back up files quickly. We used it to transfer files from an old laptop to a new laptop, and it worked perfectly. We were very happy with the purchase.

Works great for storage, I use it to store data I don't want taking up space on my pc. I have not and do not plan to use as a backup for my PC so I can't speak on that. Very fast for storage. I can play music, videos etc. very fast with this drive. I have only used it in USB 3 port. i don't know about using it in USB 2.

Quick, plug and play external hard drive. It is as easy to use as any thumb drive, only it has a lot more storage. It is fairly small and light weight. Good deal for the price.

Excellent external hard drive for storing pictures taken on my phone. Its easy to keep pictures taken by camera on a separate drive for safety. Appreciate the ease of usage.

Found this to be much easier then jumping back and forth.

Recently bought i this item as i have a music library stored in my pc. This hd easily stored all my music quickly within an hour, with tons of space to spare. Very happy with this product

This hard drive was purchaced so the Geek Squad could backup my hard drive. So fast and easy to locate a file on it rather than searching on my PC! I love Best Buy because I'm 75 yrs old and their service has been top notch!
