I needed to purchase and external hard-drive to backup my desktop prior to having it sent out for service. This device was very cost effective and provided exactly what was needed to ensure i was covered for data loss. It was easy to use and flexible enough to work on both my PC and my MAC.

External hard drive’s are the best very good for storing and making space on your PC laptops and home computers works very well out of all the hard drives I have owned these are the best. Highly recommend it to my friends and family

I was so pleased Geek Squad could put all of my data onto this one drive which I can take anywhere with a USB port . Isn't that amazing ? It was to me . And it works just as fast as my PC.

Easy to use, stores lots of stuff! Was able to transfer over multiple things from my laptop in order to free up extra space to have my laptop get updates and operate properly again!!

I purchased this to use it as a hard drive with my DVR since my DVR's internal hard drive crashed. It's worked excellently with my DVR. It would also be a good hard drive for portable, on the go storage, or backing up a computer. It's cost-effective, easily portable, solid, and reliable.

This external Hard drive is as simple of a plug and play as it comes. My Apple iMac recognizes it immediately and I have been able to shift less frequently materials off of the main memory, greatly improving performance.

Purchased to backup laptop data. Is faster on 2.0 USB port than my other USB drives. Not using the WD backup software included on drive. Like the smaller pocket size. Will most likely purchase another when they are on sale again.

Compact and easy storage option. Small enough to fit in your pocket. No issues. Price was competitive for it being on sale. Works out the box and speeds are good.
