      Easy Store provides 1TB storage for less than $50 Works well with my MacBook Pro, altho it had to be reformatted to work with OS. That is an Apple problem rather than a WD issue.

      It's hard to say, since the test of any data storage device is how long it can retain data. I purchased this drive. In the past, I've generally had good results with Western Digital, so went with WD for this drive which is intended as a backup.

      My CPU had "problems" and I had to have the Geek Squad techs work on it so I could open it again and use it.... but I wanted to ascertain that the data I had on that CPU would not get lost in the process, so I purchased that external drive and I got all my data on it.
