I had 3 desk tops and 2 laptops that were out of date. Had all data transferred to this portable drive. Had plenty of space.

I have several units for backup on 2 computers and also for archived material. I don't use the included software...on my PC I use Windows automatic backup. My HP laptop doesn't works well with the Windows updating so I use Window 7 backup and restore on a regular basic for a manual update. I only plug these units in when needed, so they don't run continuously off the computer power. To archive, I turn off backup to ensure that items aren't changed or erased and simply drag and drop items over to the Easystore. These compact unit are my favorite backup drives! Simple to use and reliable.

This device has a lot of storage space. Enough to backup the pictures from our phones to free up storage on our phones. Easy to use and it looks sophisticated.

Hubby’s laptop died - dead! All his business records were locked inside. Our Geek Squad mrmbers were able to retrieve everything onto this external hard drive. I purchased this external hard drive to put all my pictures onto before replacing my internal hard drive. It was easy to put everything onto it and I didn't lose any of my pictures.

Was purchased to be used with macbook After doing a little bit of reading on google, the setup was pretty straight forward

Useful, compact, no major issues till now. Sometimes little slow.

much easier to install and use vs the encrypted model with same storage.

Paired this up with my 128gb macbook pro and it works like a charm, it's not an ssd but it doesn't have the price tag of one either. You can hear it once you plug it in but it's not a huge deal
