Got this drive for my son to go along with his MacBook Pro. It is a perfect size physically and has plenty of storage to back up his entire hard drive. WD makes great back up drives.

Works as expected. Using with Mac. I may have reformatted the hard drive but I don't remember, pretty easy to do on Mac. Have had no problems with the hard drive.

I like the WD Easystore products. They have always been reliable. This external hard drive is built like a tank, plug and play and it's FAST.

Functioned with out a hick up. Gives me the piece of mind knowing I have backed up my important data in case anything goes wrong. I never chinch on data support and recovery. An added level of insurance.

Not the largest capacity out there, but for the price this is a great quick back up drive. I own a couple of these drives and they always come through for solid backups.
