easy to use just plug and play. the one tb is more than enough for me. just remember to click the eject button before unplugging the usb cord to safely unplug the hard drive.

I bought it for my wife and my father-in-law both of them loved it and were able to store all video and pictures that they had on phone and really easy to use

I am using this to store my diary entries. I accidentally erased 17 years of my diary on "a free online diaryl" That made me sad, angry, really angry and this was recommended to avoid that from happening again.

This device has almost no instructions, or any up to date user manual discoverable on the internet. Though I am not tech naive, I couldn't figure out how to get the backup done in a way that made the files recoverable until spending hours on my own plus calls to Best Buy and to Western Digital. Finally I visited Best Buy on my 12 month Geek Squad membership and lucked into an agent who was wonderful and made the device workable. It shouldn't be this hard.
