I bought this to transfer about 50 gigs of data back and forth between me and my boss. It's easy to use, has a decent transfer rate, and is a good price.

This product is small and so far has been reliable. I had to reformat it when I first got it in order to work with both Mac and PC but that wasn't a huge deal. Also, the cord that plugs into the computer and the hard drive is a unique cord, so I make sure I am careful with the cord.

Not only does this external have the storage space we need, it also is so easy to use. We also like the slim design for easy storage when not using.

I bought this because my laptop is about six years old and I wanted to make sure my data was backed up if the laptop died. It was a deal of the day when I bought it so the price was right. I like that it is flexible in how often and when you can set it to backup data.

I bought this to replace my Toshiba external hard-drive that decided to just stop working. So fa so good with this one. Very easy to use and open. No problems as of yet.

It worked fine. I don't know why all these drive have don't have standard USB plugs. It's a little complicated to save pictures with a mixture of operating systems. Let me explain. I have Samsung a S 21 Ultra which takes great pictures. I tried backing up the photos directly to the drive which didn't work. I have an apple computer which has a different operating system than my phone which is where the complications arise. The apple computer didn't see the drive as originally formatted. I had to reformat the drive so it could be aware of the phone and the computer. Also note if you want to back up video greater than 5 gigs you have to reformat the drive to another special format to allow you to do that. It would've been nice if WD gave you a program that was plug and play. The term Easytore is not so easy.
