Great storage in a compact sized external HD. Has worked well so far and held a lot of data. Not terribly fast in processing for data display but certainly adequate for general home needs.

Gotta love the "Deal of the Day" thing! As for the drive itself, it's perfect for taking stuff on the go. It's small enough to fit a shirt pocket and yet (the version I got) can store 1 trillion characters. That's about 233 4 GB Dvd. So, whether you're an author writing the next "War and Peace" or a shutterbug who needs a place to offload your photos, or whatever, this is a great product.

They always say that big things come in small packages. Well, that is true with this. I purchased this hard drive to back up my files from my laptop and it delivered.

The external hard drive was easy to use to open documents that the Best Buy Geek Squad recovered from my broken laptop hard drive.

This item was purchased when my Notebook PC failed to completely boot up. I took the PC to the Geek Squad where they determined that Windows 10 was corrupted, so they downloaded my files, music, photos, etc onto this external hard drive, and after installing Windows 10 on to my PC, reloaded everything back into my PC. This is a PC that is about twelve years old, but it now boots up very quickly and doesn't take its time opening files like it used to do. I can use it to load the missing music onto my other notebook PC that I never had the time to burn all of my CDs.

It has been a great backup for my computer. It works without a problem. I like being able to plug in and store photos.

I wish I purchased one of these a long time ago! I've always had to delete games and then add them back later from my PS4 library. This holds everything I need and is super easy to set-up.

I have had several Western Digital Passport External drives and they travel well and are perfect for system backups (I use mine for both of my laptops). I have always had excellent experiences with these drives (both 1 TB and 2 TBs varieties).

This hard drive is really good for the price. Upon initial setup, there are some software things that need to be installed on your Microsoft device before you can begin to use it (to help the hard drive work easier). Once the software installs on your device, its very easy to use. This hard drive was very easy to use and setup, so I bought one for my Xbox One S to use to expand the storage on it. For the price, it's well worth looking into buying. Highly recommend

Easy to use! Was able to get all my pictures and documents onto it and still have a ton of room left. The setting up was a bit difficult, but after the initial set up, it’s super easy to use

Full disclosure: I only used this to transfer data when I replaced my laptop. But it worked pretty well for that. Setting it up was as easy as plugging it in, just like using a common thumb drive. I think I remember it taking probably 2-5 hours to transfer 200-400GB of data? That's probably too big a range to be useful, but I do remember being pleased that it didn't take all night. So, transfer speeds not too bad...I think. I haven't really used a lot of other brands, or done many other high-capacity data transfers before. But anyway, overall, I had no issues, everything worked exactly as it should have. What more can you really ask for?
