It works good if you want to just store files. But you can’t store files and backup your computer. The nice part is I can use it on both a Windows system and a MAC. But don’t try to back both of them up to this, it will reformat it first.

We needed something to store all of our pictures and videos and it did just that. Easy to work with.

Windows 10 immediately recognized it as soon as I connected it. Seems much faster than my older USB 3 external drive. However the backup software included with the device was quite limited in its options so I'm using a different free application.

This is a slim set up. I transferred 600 GB and it was smooth as glass. The speed with which the files transferred was absolutely nice.
