if you looking for phone or laptop storage than this is the product for you! Very user friendly instructions. I was able to free up so much space on me phone as well as my laptop, which I hadn't planed on using because I thought that my phone would have been it.

Years ago, I purchased 2 external hard drives, two different brands, to save pictures on (duplicate backups). I wanted two in the event one failed. Fast forward to now, the original one I bought of this brand is still working but the other brand failed. Still wanting to have duplicated backups, I purchased another EHD of this brand. Hopefully this second one lasts a long time like the first one.

This device was on sale at the right time to give me plenty of space for a local backup and transfer to a new machine. Good speed and compact. I've seen these drives in use aft my local library so they are common.

I needed two external storage devices to back up my MacBook Pro and my wife's MacBook Air and found the WD Easystore 1TB at a good price. It works fine on both laptops in conjunction with Apple's Time Machine application. Its small size and being powered through its cable testify to its portability, and it is quiet. It comes with a USB 3 cable, so I purchased one Thunderbolt 3 adapter for my wife's newer MacBook Air. We are very happy with the WD Easystore 1TB.

This Portable Hard drive was suggested to me by the Geek squad when I had my computer in to be serviced. They backed up my computer and said to bring it in every few months for a new backup. This will give me peace of mind that my photos and files will be saved, The Geek Squad does an excellent job helping with computers.

I wanted an extra hard drive for my laptop, for backup, etc. This one had lots of space for a good price. It was easy to hook up and install.

Very happy with this device. WD HDD's are solidly built. I was able to back up my laptop before formatting it. Easy to transport and very reliable.

Great storage unit for the money. Fast download/uploads. Small size and lightweight you can carry the hard drive anywhere. I use the hard drive once a week for my photo and files backups without complications. .

The Western Digital - easystore® 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drives (QTY = 2) that I purchased were on sale for a terrific price (hence, why I bought 2). They were effortless to plug in and start using. Western Digital is a terrific brand and I hope these drives last for many years. Having 1TB is plenty of space and will accommodate the backups I make of my PC's hard drive each time I travel ... so I just take the USB drive with me and then have access to any file I need from my laptop.

This hard drive was affordable and it works great. I’m going to get another one for my wife. I recommend to anybody who wants a fast portable hard drive

The best item to always purchase to backup your personal things. 1TB is sufficient depending on what you have. Compatible with the both Apple and Windows!!!

This hard drive is small and easy to use. If you are a Mac user, be aware that you will need to buy an adapter to plug this into your Mac. Would be nice if it came with that or if the packaging made it more clear that you need the adapter to use with a Mac.

Great portable hard drive. Computer recognized it quickly, lots of space for the price. Highly recommend Western Digital, great reliable products.

I don't like VoIP very much, but there are two reasons why I have one. 1) My spouse doesn't like cell phones, so for the sake of peace in the household we have one. 2) Charitable organizations, political campaigns and other organizations constantly ask for a phone number. A VoIP phone that we don't answer allows us to have it both ways.
