      Used as extra storage for my PS4. Plugged it in the back USB port and let the PS4 format it as extended storage. Before unplugging it from PS4 hold down PS button to bring up menu and disconnect device as extended storage. See your PS4 manual. So far everything works great. If you use it for gaming console I would advise hooking it up to your computer and copy off the Windows/Mac installation software first in case you want to use it on a computer later.
