Awesome external hard drive with tons of storage space. I use it to store pictures from 3 field cameras and clean up the camera memory card monthly at my land.

We bought this because we needed to free up space on our computer, and it worked well for us.

I use a lot of these drives to move data between friends and co-workers. The drives are very straight forward and easy to handle. I have not had a failure with these drives. I would recommend these drives.

if you looking for phone or laptop storage than this is the product for you! Very user friendly instructions. I was able to free up so much space on me phone as well as my laptop, which I hadn't planed on using because I thought that my phone would have been it.

As a photographer I use a lot of storage for photos. This is a great place to store my favorite pieces.

I needed two external storage devices to back up my MacBook Pro and my wife's MacBook Air and found the WD Easystore 1TB at a good price. It works fine on both laptops in conjunction with Apple's Time Machine application. Its small size and being powered through its cable testify to its portability, and it is quiet. It comes with a USB 3 cable, so I purchased one Thunderbolt 3 adapter for my wife's newer MacBook Air. We are very happy with the WD Easystore 1TB.

Easy to use. 1 TB storage capacity is more than enough for me. Compact small size is convenient. Price was reasonable.

I received this from Geek Squad after using their recovery service for a hard drive that crashed on me. They were able to recover most of my photos and put them on this drive. It seems like a good drive, no problems so far. My advice to anyone who stores photos, data, movies, whatever is to back it up on another drive or multiple drives. That way you know you'll always have it.

I say so far because longetivity will tell. I have WD My Cloud 3TB that I use as back-up and additional storage for movies for a few years now and have had no problems. Buying this portable drive I expect the same performance. I am using it with my Microsoft Surfacebook, 1st Generation, as a hard drive to go with the SSD in it, connected to one USB port. No set-up necessary just PnP. I even save compatable Steam games on it and play without a problem.
