No issues disconnecting. Only slightly annoying feature is the nonstop blinking light.

Exactly what I needed

Everything worked great after I determined that I needed to reformat the hard drive to get it to work Once that was done I was able to transfer everything over and access it on my PC.

Great little drive

This great little drive is no different. Setup, formatted and ready to go. The blue end indicates it is USB 3.0 and it is fast. I use this one to back up my videos, and it is speedy. Better yet, I got it on sale.
