I’m still not sure how to set it up for automatic backup.

was used to transfer item from a imac to new pc. not as expensive as other units

Th drive was easy to set up and use. I backed up all my photos!!

I gave a four because u have to install before you use its not a plug and play

I purchased two of these devices - one for home use and one for work. Unfortunately, the one for work malfunctioned, and I lost 12 years of work I downloaded before leaving my previous job. It could not be recovered by the store. I hope the replacement works better. The home unit is working fine thus far.

This is a good external hard drive, but might be difficult to format for macs.

The drive copied my data quickly without any problems. And the price was right.

This device was not user friendly. Tried to get support from Geek squad, but they wanted to charge. Called manufacture and they were very helpful and free. Finally after multiple calls was able to down load information. This is not just a plug in and run device

Easystore is lightweight but lacks a few features. It's difficult to find out how to transfer files since the guide prompts transfer via dropbox or the cloud. I wish the instructions were more clear and extensive.

Works good I use it for my computer comes in handy

Recommended 1 to hard drive but does seem a bit slow with transferring data.

I use these all the time for work, these are good hard drives.

works well. it’s really light weight. I hope durability isn’t an issue.

I bought this to have a safe external Time Machine backup. Installation was easy. Thereafter constant alerts that 'Backup failed' led me to search the web for an explanation as Western Digital software was no help whatsoever. I found information that led me to delete certain WD files and that seems to have solved the 'Backup failed' problem. Now at random times the easystore disk disappears from the desktop, and if I don't respond to any popup messages about it, the disk drive reappears on its own and seems to be doing its backup job. As a result, I don't recommend this device for Mac users.

I have set this drive to backup files but it is not clear which files were backed up. The Drives menu didn't provide the type of file structure I expected, that is similar to Windows. Based on other suggestions online, I disconnected the drive after the backup just in case and will connect it once a week.

Bought it for a client. I have used these before, and they're very good.

Performance is fair,but the reliable quality is still unknown.
