I PURCHASED THIS IN JUNE 2017 AND IT QUIT WORKING AND LOST ALL THE DATA THAT I HAD ON IT IN AUGUST 2017. NOT THE BEST ITEM TO STORE DATA ON

I have not been able to use this External Hard Drive with my Apple computer even though I was told it would work. It works well with PC's.

It is not that great it tries to set up short cuts and older laptops don't really support this. I want it to function like a mass storage device only.

This device didn't last. Thought it would be dependable storage and backup. It died without any warning after not much use. We lost all data on it since there isn't a way to recover the data. Found out that these do break easy and you should always have multiple backup devices.

I used this hard drive to move my 20,000 screenshots from my computer. When I did move my photos it relocated or deleted my camera upload file (which had nothing to do with my screenshots) Best Buy would not take responsibility for this and said that Windows did it on it's own LOL I don't think so!! Needless to say I am very disappointed with this product and have to find another way to view my camera photos.

Fair service. Been to store and very rarely get help from people that appear to be knowledgable about the products I am considering.

I can’t use this because it’s not compatible with my old system. When I googled what I needed to backup my MacBook Air this product came up. However, the fine print on the instructions say otherwise. I can’t use it, my computer isn’t backed up, and I’ve already opened the packaging.

Unfortunately i purchased a defective harddrive, but the company was awesome and replaced it with a much better for free.

Broken after 2 months with little use no recomended if you want better disk put more money and buy another brand

Compact external drive comes complete with USB cable. It is supposed to be intuitive and provide automatic backup.

While my laptop was being serviced by geek squad, they recommended I buy a backup device. I bought this unit at the Best Buy store and gave it to geek squad, unopened. They backed up my laptop and returned everything to me, but did not return any of the packaging or instructions for the backup device. I’d like to use it, but don’t know how.

This product seems great if you know how to configure it. I'm having trouble saving data, uploading files and etc.

While it stores what I need it to, it will not give me half my photos back. Frustrated.

My computer was not able to see this external device. I returned the device to the store and was told that it was working perfectly. I took the same device back home and tried it again, and again, my computer did not see the device and I had to buy a flash drive with high storage capacity.

Hi, Bought this item and bring home back in philippines, but when i open and tried to use as my back up. there was an error. It was more than 15 days already so i dont think bestbuy will accept the device. It was frustrating, it was on sale but o didnt use it! so it’s soo expensive for 25usd! a useless device and i throw my $$!

Thought I was getting a 4 TB but only got a 1 TB - now I have to order another one

Will not work because the execute file will not load. Frustrating.

I do not like it. I lost all my memories and photos. It stopped working after 2 years.

Product is good, if something goes wrong it is way expensive to recover data.
