Very compact but holds LOTS of data. Glad I got this one to backup my photo collection.

We were told we needed to purchase this before the Geek Squad fixed our computer, that made good sense & it was on sale (it's even lower now), a good price for 1Tb. We have used it twice thus far with no problems at all, plenty of room to put all the 24 games our teen uses & all his schoolwork. He should be backing up everything regularly but we arent there yet. Its small, compact & great for those who can't risk losing data. A good buy.

Picked up 2 of these to backup GoPro video files. They are small and portable and work like a charm.

This drive is small enough to carry anywhere and use just about anywhere. Does what it's supposed to do. I'd look for some proprietary software to manage your docs though. WD could make the management software easier to use and locate your files. Good drive though.

I am not very tech savvy. I wanted something that would be easy to use to back up my computers. Easy to use and allows me to back up more than one computer.

getting tired of the slow file save time with my older usb external drive. this usb 3 ext drive is much faster. reasonable price, good performance so far.

Excellent size considering the high storage capacity. Easy to carrie and fits on most places (back pack, purse or any other bag) i will highly recommend it.

This Portable Hard drive was suggested to me by the Geek squad when I had my computer in to be serviced. They backed up my computer and said to bring it in every few months for a new backup. This will give me peace of mind that my photos and files will be saved, The Geek Squad does an excellent job helping with computers.
