      I plugged it in via USB port. Quickly did a file backup. Product was easy to use. Has plenty of storage. Should provide sufficient storage for my needs for years.

      It's been maybe 5 years since I bought an external drive. I switched from Mac to PC and decided to get a new drive along with it. 1 TB is a good size for me as I like to keep raw unedited photos. WD has a nice interface which guides you through the backup process. I like the WD backup function which will help me stay on top of backing up without it being another 'chore' on my list. I look forward to never again asking myself ' Did I back this folder up already? Ugh, let me go in and check'!
