      We purchased the WD Easystore to save pictures and poetry from an old computer before recycling. Knowing family photos and a collection of personal poetry from childhood to present is safely stored is a relief for us. We can get rid of this old beast and still have fun making collages from the photos and editing the poetry.

      I use online backup for my laptop, but as a hobby photographer, I have thousands of photos on my computer. As a result, I want multiple backups of my images. The low cost and easy attachment allows me to have backups of my photos by category. When I am in the field and not readily able to connect to my online backup, this drive gives me the ability to backup my most recent photos before they get safely stored online.
