It does exactly what it's supposed to do - and it works very well. If you have any difficulties getting it set up, you can read online about how to fix it without doing anything too intensive. It also feels really nice to the touch, and is a nice size and shape.

The WD easystore drive was exceptionally easy to install. While it is not the fastest drive, there was no rush to get a backup done. Very inexpensive and a very simple interface.

It works as is. My only issue was the misleading storage info. It says 1TB which translates to 1000 GB. However, you will only have about 930 GB of unused space when installed. The tech at Best Buy informed me that the missing GB hold neccessary applications and folders on this device for it to work, and that all TB storages are like that. Mind you I opened it in store and plugged into my laptop there. Glad I did. I feel as if this is a rip off. My Lexar 16 GB comes with exactly 16 GB of unused space. I didn't argue much because I needed more space asap. But I still smell BS..I will reach out to the company. So far works very nicely.

This is a great item for storing date to offload it from the computer.

I really like this hard drive. It's simple to use so I'm not worried about something not working right. I like how small it is too because it fits anywhere if you need to take it with you. I'm glad I went with the 1TB instead of something with less memory because I can fit EVERYTHING I have saved and much much more.

bought this on sale and it's working great. my sons laptop only has 250gb of storage so i was in desperate need of more storage. this works perfectly. the download times are a little slow but i expected that. perfect for someone that needs more storage and can't upgrade onboard storage easily (mostly laptops). when saving games make sure you change save location to the easystore
