needed a portable drive to copy files, photos, documents off of 2 older computers, works as expected, also got it on sale and that was a good plus.

Second one I have bought too bad my computer the old one won’t turn on so I could save my pictures with it but I kept it since it’s something that will come in handy.

If you like to play games I would totally recommend you getting this because it saves all your games downloads them everything is wonderful I bought one and I think it's the best thing I've done

This is more than helpful for me to store my information so it won’t be lost and the size is perfect for me because it doesn’t take much space and I don’t worry about losing any of my documents. Plug in overnight and the next day it’s done easy for someone like me with my limited technology knowledge.

Bought this to use with Time Machine on my new iMac. This comments on the packaging said it may require reformatting to use on an iMac-Apple computer. Well...it did not require much on my part. Once I hooked it up to my Mac, the Time Machine software pretty much did most of the thinking for me. And, two weeks later it came in handy as I had to do a system restore.

This is a great option to expand internal memory of PS4. Easy plug and play kind of external hard drive.

It worked for initial backup of data. Can't speak to the long term, but I needed space on my work laptop and one drive sucks, so... This was a decent price and amount of space and I was able to pick it up locally in an hour.

I purchased this in order to use as an extended storage for my Razer Blade as it only had 256GB of on-board storage. Knowing that it is a Hard Disk drive i knew it would not perform as fast as an SSD, but to my surprise it was still really snappy for loading my programs and transferring projects from the laptop to the drive. I have used other external Hard Disk drives but this has to be one of the best thus far. My only two complaints for this is that the enclosure gets rather hot after extended usage or when transferring large batches of files at a time and that the enclosure itself is rather large compared to others, however, this drive still serves as my daily driver and does such a great job that I recommended it to my friend who has a Macbook Pro and they love it as well.
