Boots and runs operating system Mac mine 2014

It runs the operating system and is so much faster than the internal drive. It booted up in just over a minute compared to over 5 minutes on the internal. Web pages even load faster.

I use it to store most of my documents and download games instead of keeping them all on a single laptop. It’s the perfect size- small enough to not get in the way but large enough to not lose easily.

WD Easystore 1TB SSD GREAT PRICE AND EASY TO USE

I had recently purchased before a SSD Crucial and that was difficult to figure out how to configure . This WD on the other hand was great, no problems, just plug it in and it works! Very easy, very good value! At this point can't say how long it'll last but have no reason to worry.

Just what I was looking for but beware w old pc

Copied my files off of my windows 10 computer, tried to attach it to an ancient but functional Windows 8 computer and it completely broke it. Besides that you can just drag and drop your files, can’t get easier than that.
