Great option for a lot of storage in a small form factor

Just what we needed to store our photos and videos. It's really fast especially when hooked up via a USB-C. We did a 0.9 GB transfer of photos and videos from our MacBook with no problems. It did get a little warm but nothing to worry about. Our only and main complaint is the USB-A cord they include with Easystore SSD. This is 2022 and should have include a USB-C cable instead of the USB-A. We bought the USB-C cable the day after we picked up the WD Easystore SSD. On whim we tested the USB-A against the USB-C for a 50 GB video. The USB-C cable was almost 50% faster in down and upload speeds. I recommend you get an USB-C cable with WD USB-B on the other side. We bought the AINOPE 10Gbps Micro B to USB C Hard Drive Cable 1.6FT/0.5m for $10.

Wonderful device. Able to play games installed on this tiny external.

Excellent physical size and size capacity. Can't lose it as easy as a thumb drive. I have a couple.for different catagories of files.

So far I am very pleased with this product. I bought it to store pictures from my windows, iMac, and Macbook Pro once I edit them all. It is slim, easy to use, and with an adapter can connect to my Apple products easily. Only complaint is that it seems a bit light so it makes me worry about the outside of the drive.

This works really well... easy to get information both onto and off of it. I like the idea that it is not like previous hard drives with moving parts. This should be more reliable and last longer. My only problem is that I should have gotten one with even more storage than I did!!

Very good ssd for the price. Full tb nothing missing just a solid device. And perfect size as well.

This is the best portable storage that I have so far. It is so easy to use and very convenient. It doesn't take up much space at all. Just plug into the computer with the USB cable and use it. I highly recommend it to other people.

My daughter needed an external storage device to use for gaming in her laptop. We got her this for Christmas and she loves it. Meets all her needs, small, portable, plug and play.

This was used primarily by the Geek Squad to transfer the data from my old PC but will be valuable to continue backing up my data in the future

Needed extra space for my work laptop, didnt want all my work and personal info getting all mixed together. This drive made it simple and easy to store what I wanted where I wanted it.

I wanted more than a flash drive. The Best Buy associate told me the ssd was a good one to get. Now I have plenty of space to backup my old desktop computer. It was also half price when I bought it. An added bonus.

This external SSD is easy to use and definitely worth getting for some extra storage for your ps4 games. The size itself is a plus though I would like to see a 2TB or 4TB version of this.

Easy setup! High quality! Using for storage on my t a b l o TV tuner DVR. Formatted easily and gives me plenty of storage for my television shows. Haven't had any glitches!

Bought 2 of these WD 1TB ssd external hardrdrive. It works fanastic with our computers. Its a 3.0 usb. Great item small easy to transport. Bestbuy had the best pricr for it. Ordered online and had it delivered to my home

I got it with the intention of backing up my hdd as i switch to an ssd and this could almost itself run a pc as an ssd if i needed it too. Def worth the buy!

This external SSD is very small, and it was decently fast, but not as fast as I expected, even when using the proper USB high-speed port on my computer.
