Great Hard Drive

Is is about as simple to use as it could be. Simply plug in the USB cable and the drive prompts you to download the software automatically. It takes no skills at all. anyone can use this to backup their system. I recommend this for anyone needing quick, easy backup.

It's a hard drive

Comes with USB 3.0 connector, doesn't require external power like the old drives used to. 1TB should be sufficient for most people for backing up essential files they don't want to lose. The price was competitive with anything online and WD is a solid brand.

Great product, average software

The Best Buy associate told me that it would. It will not recognize mapped network drives. It would be great for a local backup but requires third-party software to backup over mapped drives.
