    We bought this because my husband’s parents passed away, and they had tons of family photos on their laptop. The laptop wasn’t any good anymore though, so we transferred them on to it.

    Windows 10 immediately recognized it as soon as I connected it. Seems much faster than my older USB 3 external drive. However the backup software included with the device was quite limited in its options so I'm using a different free application.
