WD External Hard Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I had trouble with my computer being so close to crashing, I brought it in and was told that whatever information I needed to save would be saved on the WD Backup, then the computer would be wiped clean, and then the information would be put back on to the computer. Well, it worked beautifully and I have my information. I had an older WD External Hard Drive, but my son-in-law said they need to be replaced after maybe 3 years. I am glad I made this purchase, because the older one was maybe 5 years old. Happy with my purchase.

Ran out of internal space and added this drive. No issues whatsoever. Had $20 in points so it was less than $40 with the 2yr warranty added.

I have purchased several of these 1 TB drives over the past few years, these are my backup drives. For my purpose they work well. I buy and replace a drive every 6 months.
