    I used this for about a week before my laptop decided to kick the bucket (unrelated), but it definitely boosted storage. Originally my laptop have less than 3GB of usable storage straight out the box, but this allowed me to do things i haven’t done in years! I was able to open TWO tabs, download a new wallpaper, even play some solitaire!

    It didn’t download software and I can’t save anything on it. What a waste of money…. No instructions either.

    I am not sure why these cannot be smaller but this one has a lot of memory so that is good. I got it on sale so that was good.

    So glad the Geek Squad recommended getting this and so thankful they were able to download my crashed hard drive data onto it. My old computer was ancient and running Windows XP. Already got a new computer and printer to go with it at BB! They uploaded the data from the external drive onto my new computer and I'm happily setting up my new computer and software!

    My wife has alot of pictures and videos stored on our computer. Lots of family memories and some important legal documents. Our concern was that if anything were to happen to the computer, alot of important things will be lost. A Best Buy associate recommended one of these and helped us back up all our items from the computer onto this hard drive.
