I have 2 5TB G drives connected as well but they are so smooth and silent. The constant crunch crunch struggle of this hard drive is definitely distracting while editing. It sounds like its dying.

The clicking is unbearable. I've had the drive for less than a week and have suffered no less than 100 "drive not disconnected properly" errors. A data transfer task that should have taken me 20 minutes has now cost me almost an entire week while risking my data in the process. Will be returning today.

These are great drives when they send you a FACTORY NEW drive, not one that someone shucked and stuck an old drive into. They won't honor returns if this happens to you.

Mine seems defective

When I plugged it in, it was spinning noisily. I’m afraid I’m going to have to purchase a new one because it sounds like this one is defective. Unfortunately, it’s past the return period.

I have probably lost all my data. Can't believe this! Second time and easy store drive has died on me. At least this one is still under warranty although I don't know about data recovery.
