New life for old machines

There's really no comparison. It's like a whole new machine. If you are in the need of an upgrade for a slower machine, the first step is upgrading to an SSD drive, and the second is adding more RAM (which I did too).

Great upgrade for old laptops

Wanted to use it for the kids online learning, so we upgraded it to Windows 10, and installed this little drive in it, after copying the original drive to it with Macrium. The difference was amazing. Boots up fast now, and runs the education software and web browser like a new computer.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SSDs these days hit limits on their performance this is as good as it is going to be, thus the difference between a cheap SSD and the most expensive ones is not in quality or speed, it is just a brand name. THey will all work at the max speed allowed by the SATA controller. I use this drive for OS only, no data stored on it, it is perfect!
