Whoops, I needed 500GB but I bought 240Gb. Guess I’ll get an external USB C enclosure and make it a backup drive. The WB blue family of SSDs are reliable and I have yet to have one fail under normal use. I use Acronis True Image to clone boot drives and these little buggers have yet to disappoint me.

Quick easy drive to install. A bit pricey but gets the job done. Fast enough for an everyday computer boot drive.

Do not let the price scare you, this drive is solid. if you have a Spinning hard drive in your machine, this will make your computer 10 times better. the drive does not come with any cloning software, so be sure but one if you plan to clone your drive.

Way faster than my old drive. Using it in my acer laptop. 240GB might not sound like a lot, but my first hard drive was only 20 meg. And that 20 meg drive cost more than this Western Digital. I didn't know how to transfer Windows 10, so one of my friends did it.

These are a great go to drive, speeds up any hard drive based machine, PC or Mac. Great to have on hand, in case a relative or friend needs a lil upgrade! Kinda makes you chuckle, seeing these drives just run circles around the hard drives.. Whew!

So far so good. Have not run into any read/write issues yet, and thermals seem to be fine for a ssd. Read speed is decent for a budget SSD. Makes a good OS drive for like a living room home theater pc.

This replaced a bad one that came with a product I received. Best Buy had it in stock and the price was great. Downloading data to the drive was easy. As usual, I am a big fan of Best Buy. They always have the items I need in stock.
