This replaced a bad one that came with a product I received. Best Buy had it in stock and the price was great. Downloading data to the drive was easy. As usual, I am a big fan of Best Buy. They always have the items I need in stock.

So far so good. Have not run into any read/write issues yet, and thermals seem to be fine for a ssd. Read speed is decent for a budget SSD. Makes a good OS drive for like a living room home theater pc.

It is my first SSD and I am beyond impressed with it. It is small in storage size but the speed at which my 11 to 12 year old computer boots up is incredible. In the near future I will purchase a 1 to 2 TB SSD for a future computer.

I bought this WD 240GB SSD drive to improve my HP Pavilion that had an old drive and was rather slow. Now the laptop boots amazingly fast, it takes about 20 seconds versus a few minutes before. Everything launches faster too, and I am just as happy.

Used this SSD to upgrade an aging computer and made it feel new again. This is nothing special in terms of speed and performance but it is a solid basic SSD that is great for bringing new life to old platforms.

This product is great, I would recommend this drive to everyone who needs one. You will see an immediate difference in speed when replacing a standard conventional drive with an SSD

This disc has good quality, I bought it to make an update to my wife's computer, after installing the system the response time is very fast, it only takes a few seconds to load the system, I really think it was a good purchase

I put in the solid state hard drive into my laptop changes the game in reference to speed on my computer because of this I change the hard drives in all three of my computer's it has made a huge difference

My HDD was becoming super slow. This SSD made it better again! I used Macrium Reflect to clone the HDD to the SSD.

Gets the job done for a good price. You are best off asking a salesperson to help you find these in the store rather than hunting them down yourself.

Great cheap drive, I bought this to put in a older Intel I3 laptop for one of my grandfathers friends as a boot drive. He called me and said "This thing has smoke rolling off of it now" Meaning its super fast, went from 3-4min boot times to 15 second boot times. Personally if you want your computer to do anything other than surf the web, I would get a larger drive or make sure you have more than one hard drive in the system. But for my use case there was no reason to get a bigger drive.

My new drive wS installed very wuickly and my laptop is much faster. The gentlemen that delivered my laptop after a in-home scan were marvelous.

Great cheapie SSD. Inexpensive way to swap out old school mechanical sata HDD for more speed. Bought a bunch and no issues. Cheers.

good recommendation for the Geek Squad. They were very knowledgeable and new that my laptop needed this as soon as I describe my problem.

This drive works great and has great performance for the price. Just do yourself a favor and buy it elsewhere. Best Buy has gone downhill dramatically over the past few years and it took me over 20 mins to get someone to let me buy it.
