Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good value purchase (discounted promotional price at best buy) Very fast SSD which although on the smaller capacity side these days for primary memory is very useful as an externa usb 3 attach device (really fast write speeds compared to most UB sticks) ; does not come with sata usb 3 adaptor however and disc needs to be initially formatted ( i think )

That's what everybody's looking for in a SSD, right? I've upgraded a few dozen business-use computers with these drives to breathe some new life into them, and we've not had any issues from them.

Works great, even on XP!

I wanted a fast disk to hold working copies, and this works great. I'm not booting from the disk.

Great Budget SSD

System boots much faster and apps load in half the time.

Cloning software “Acronis” was a little glitchy but did the job. This pc has now become one on my fastest start pc’s due to this SSD upgrade.

Good low cost SSD

It is best suited for older systems that are nearing replacement and need a performance boost until it is replaced, or an older system that is in need of a faster drive. This SSD is not ideal for higher end systems due to the performance limitations of a low end DRAMless SSD.

Increased significantly the speed as the laptop processor is not the fastest and I can still use it without a nervous breakdown due to lag time.

Cloning software is available on the WDC website, but it wasn't very good. I used another freeware tool that did the job. Otherwise, it worked great without issue.
