I got this portable external hard drive form the black Friday poster online. At first, I want to purchase the 8 TB one, but I am a little bit slow about it. Then I bought this one - still it is a good deal for this volume. I transfer about 90G files to it at a time, and it takes about 3o mins, it is not bad.

One of the best purchases i have ever made as a gamer. I use this for my ps4 and it was so easy to install. I have over 70 games installed on my ps4 and still have more memory to use

Easy to set up, I’ve always gone with WD drives for the longest time. Great realiable drives! I got this drive on sale at the time of purchase for a steal and would recommend you do the same!

Bought this on sale and used it on my PlayStation for extra storage. Works like a charm!

My only problem is the fact the usb cable is a little loose fitting. I have had a couple disconnects. I also treat it kindly since day one. Straight in and Straight out. Be careful if a person has young ones that use it. they may stretch the ports out by not unplugging it carefully... and you for sure will possibly get an un recognize device from windows or dropped connections....other than that I love it.

Works great straight out of the box. I got this unit on sale. Plus the small size is much better than the big upright versions. It does the same thing, but is less complicated and much more portable.

I purchased this external hard drive to be able to conserve some space on my MacBook Pro. I found it very easy to use and the amount of storage space is more than sufficient for my needs.

Not what i was looking for but the real purpose of it is 100% good but had to return it because i needed an ssd not an hdd

Price - acceptable. Performance - on a part with external, USB 5400 RPM drives. However, drive advertised as 4T, h2Test and windoze both report it much smaller, 3.6T. Even counting a MegaByte as 1000, instead of 1024, this should come to a formatted much higher.

As our storage needs grow my trusty 1TB drives were fast filling up. The easiest way to overcome this is to replace it/them with a larger capacity drive. This drive by Western Digital was the right size and the right price. It plugged right in and took over where the older one left off. And with USB 3.0 is it even faster.

WD Easystore was very easy to install and set up. It has performed flawlessly since purchase.

Very easy to use. A bit bulkier than I have liked but could have been due to its size since I got 4tb. The drive comes installed with software to assist with backup for both Mac and Windows.

I was running out of space on my hard drive, but didn't want to start removing a bunch of games and reinstalling later if I wanted to play this or that. Now I have other games my wife wants to play as well, so I needed the extra space. This drive works really well, glad I bought it

I got this for my Xbox one! It’s small, portable and has more then enough space for all my games and with the One X due out soon I figured this was the perfect time to get a big external drive!

I bought the HDD during a sale for $80. I don't know how much it currently is, I am just stating the purchase price I paid. I am a real estate agent and a wedding photographer, so I am constantly uploading photos. I amazingly filled my 1 TB portable to capacity, so I was going to get another 1 TB, but opted for the 4 TB instead. I figured this one would last me for another 5-10 years. The HDD itself is a little bit larger than my 1 TB. It has a light to indicate when it's plugged into your pc or mac. The transfer rate is very fast, and it came with a USB 3.0 cable in box. Overall, I haven't had any issues with it.
