this is a very small and useful 4tb hardrive it small and neat and can be use for ps4, x box one, or pc it works very easy

For what it is, it seems pretty decent at the sale price. 4TB is a fair amount of storage for a portable drive, although it does seem a little slow. Despite it's stated 5GB throughput rating, it is MUCH slower than that and I suspect part of the reason is the rotation speed. There are no published specs that I can find, but it performs like a 4800-5400 RPM drive, and I'm considering disassembly to see if there is anything on the drive label that gives better specs. My biggest complaint is with the warranty, HDDs *used* to have a 3 year warranty from the big name manufacturers, now they only have a 2 year warranty or less. This is horrible as it allows manufacturers to use cheaper components with shorter lifespans and not worry about how well it is actually built and performing.

I use this WD drive for backups. It's been 100% reliable so far, absolutely no problems whatsoever. I can confidently recommend this item based on my experience. WD drives have served me very well for years.

I have purchased several of these and have been very happy with them. Fast data transfer rate and small in size. Study and durable.

I bought one for my computer files and one for my Xbox One, both are working great. I bought these because they didn't come with additional backup software so they're a great price. However, if you feel you need backup software to make the process easier for you, would recommend one of the higher models. If you're cool with dragging and dropping the files yourself, or if you're using this for a game console (which usually delete any additional backup software anyway), these are perfect.

Perfect for what I needed it for. Highly recommend if looking for external storage.

great price for 4tb. using this for the ps4 now that its compatible with external drives. I can now keep all my games saved instead of having to erase them because of the ps4's small hard drive. great price.

no matter what your interests, backing up your data on an easily transportable drive is a must for everyone. as tech advances, write and read speeds improve. this drive holds a very large amount of data with good transfer speeds in both directions. whether for ease of use or safety backup, this drive fills the bill. a dependable brand at a good price point

Got it for $20/GB which is the lowest I have seen for a 2.5inch disk. Not in real need but could not pass up the deal with $15 gift card. Will use as the backup for videos that I have. No more burning DVD/BR

I love the portability and massive storage of the hard drive. I did not have the chance to check the writing and reading speeds. I wished it had type C connectivity. So far, I would recommend this product.

I got this when it was on sale during black friday. Very portable, works well, and lots of space to boot. Very minimal design with no added weight or software to start using. I like this approach the best.

Using for my Xbox one storage needs, unfortunately the consoles are strict about what they take ps4 will just not take hard drive bigger than 2.5 sucks. But hard drive works great. and got for a good deal

This has been a lifesaver for me at my job! My 1TB hard drive is almost full....I backed up files on the easystore and now I am good to go!!

WD easystore 4TB usb 3.0 drive is a good addition to backup files. I am using it to backup data from 2 old computers and will use as the backup storage for the new machine.. Definitely like the small footprint of the drive, much smaller than my old 2 TB usb2.0 AC powered drives. The drive is hot swappable, with a light showing when drive is idle or working, I know when it can be detached. I plan on moving all data from my old AC 2.0 drives to easystore 3.0 drives.

Bought 2 to use for PS4 & PS5. Easily formats once it connects.

The quality was the To Go to criteria and this matches what I was looking for. I don't store a lot of things though but to have more space doesn't hurt and would make it run faster for me. Great purchase
