Drive seems to work as expected. As a photographer it works well to carry my Lightroom catalog with me.

Very compact and light weight for both items. It is set up for windows and you will have to look up how to convert it to use for mac but after you do that you can use it for Mac and windows. Make sure you know how to do the converting before buying it is a little complicated

I purchased this hard drive to replace my old strudy one. Unlike that old unit, this one is plug and play (my old one had to be plugged to the outlet). It saves great amounts of information quickly and its small size makes it really convenient. I would definitely buy again.

I've bought a few Western Digital portable hard drives over the years and have had no complaints at all. However the USB 3.0 flash drive offered in this bundle is very slow. I measured a transfer speed of only 20 MB/sec which I think is only USB 2.0 speed. Keep that in mind even though the flash drive is basically offered free with the hard drive. If you really need a fast flash drive I strongly recommend the SANDISK Extreme line of USB 3.0 flash drives.

Bought this to use primarily as Time Machine backup on MacBook Pro. Used only once and it worked flawlessly.

Needed a new drive and this was big enough to consolidate a few old ones. Came with a free memory stick too.

Everything has worked well so far, it accesses information fast, and is the same size as my old 2TB drive.

Love it works Great and Fast!!! the USB 3.0 Works Great and you can use a USB 2.0 cable if you need to in a pinch and tried it and it worked great, I used the to slow down the data to an SSD drive so it would not over hear when making a complete copy of the drive.

I bought this Hard Drive to save all my videos and photos from my travel trip... I have been using WD product for more than 15 years and they are all good.. It is faster to transfer large video files with USB 3.0.
