Great X-ternal drive

I will say the subject drive was surprisingly quick and took the back up settings and backed up my laptop lighting fast. I'm very happy so far.

External drives should just be something you don't need to think about and this one works fine. I've owned many WD devices and will buy another.

Couldn't beat the Black Friday price

They threw in a 32GB USB stick for $79 so I bought two. These will be sparecly used for back up and archive only hence they should last a long long time.... At least until they have solid state drives this size for this price.

A good hdd for moderate users

It replaces several smaller drives and makes storage much easier and also makes viewing photos easier as it relieves the need to switch drives to see all the photos. Happy with purchase.
