So far they do everything they are supposed to. Copy speeds seem @ 25 mb. Could be my machines. Watch for when they go on sale . . . .

Great Drive for MAC

Just one thing to note is you have to reformat the disk for MAC use. Make sure you read the instructions on how to do this

Fast and Affordable

I am using this as a back-up drive, so that I wouldn't lose any information. It's fast and installing it was easy.

I like that it is compact and not as noticeable as the bigger hard drives. This also came with a bonus thumb drive, which will be useful.

Good Portable Drive

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With a hurricane approaching it was a wise investment to be able to backup my two desktops and take the drive with me in a to go bag and my laptop. The backup software will capture the important stuff. The vault software that came with it is nice for encrypting personal and financial data so if the drive is lost your data is not vulnerable.

Easy quick and fast

But overall great purchase.

Just the right item I needed.

So I bought this external hard drive to move my photos to, it was so easy and quick to make new folders and store them more appropriately (I have thousands of photos, all just downloaded to a couple of different folders). So far, this item has been perfect for what I purchased it for.

Remember when a Bunch of Companies made HDDs?

Stick with what works WD for HDDs! Super cheap for the capacity and free thumb drive, who doesn't need another thumb drive?
