This WD Easystore is a great external hard drive for use as a backup drive. Included with the drive was backup software that was easy to set up.

it is very difficult to fill this gadget up..but i'm working on it. Who knew you could fit so many family gatherings/getogethers in 4 terabytes (4000 gigabyte's).

I needed a portable drive to keep all my data backed up and this really fits the bill. Awesome data transfer speed and data security features are awesome.

After getting myself up to speed on the installation the drive appears to do what I wanted. It backs up your computer files in the event of a hard drive crash.

I’ve had a few different brands of external drives. Had some bad results with some which I won’t mention the brand. I’ve had great luck with western digital.

This is the largest capacity external hard drive that is powered by USB that I've found, which is what I needed. The bonus is the thumb drive that came with it.

This is a really nice HD. It gets the job done. The speeds aren't terrible but they aren't like having a SSD obviously. Overall, gets the job done.

I am not a strong believer in the new 4TB drives, but works better than the 4 TB seagate versions. Drive uses vertical striping, which is not 100% reliable. I am have already had some read/write errors, so recommended only for large video collection, not personal photos or documents!.

This package deal is the best deal for a 4TB portable hard drive I have seen this year. It's easy to use, and there is only one cable needed for this unit.

It took a little while to download and install the software to format it to work on both MAC and Windows. I have gotten a file system error warning a few times while trying to open files on my ASUS running Windows 10, but it works the next time I try to open the file.

WD has been good to me over the years. What a great bonus for this product to come with a large capacity USB flash drive. I couldn't pass this bargain up!

after i get this unit . connect to my new laptop and transfer all the picture and some files . transfer time very fast. just put in order for anther one.

Purchased this had during 2018thanksgivings shopping season. I use it every day since. Fast, quite, and no noticeable noise. Satisfied so far.
