Needed an external hard drive for my photo's primarily, got this for a fairly decent price on a Black Friday deal and glad I did. Works great. Easy set up for Mac.

Bought one about a year ago. Had a need for a second one. Have had no issues with the first one, so I bought a second unit. Lots of storage, easy to use.

This is a perfect gift for anyone that wants there PC or laptop to act faster. I had about 600 GB of files, movies, and pics and my laptop was very slow. It was recommend by a CS engineer to simply move all files to an external HD (cheap option). Which I did and suddenly all my programs run amazingly fast! My laptop acts as fast as when I bought. And its simple to connect and use. If you need to access files for daily use, simply plug in and select the files to use. Just make sure its in a safe place where there are no sudden drops where the item can be damaged. The uploads are fast also!

A 4Tb external under $100 to keep two disc images and incremental back ups. Very easy to install and use. That keeps me safe from disc crashes and ransomware!

Good drive with lots of space , WD is the only company I have never had a drive fail even after 15 years of use and I expect the same from this drive.
