Already having problems

After a few days now he gets constant errors and saved data corrupted. I bought a new data cable to try before I take it the 50 miles back to best buy. It does have a two year warranty so if that doesn't fix the problem it should be covered under warranty. Just very aggravating to make a special trip already for a new item.
