Not reliable On Mac
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m using this on a new Mac Mini and it reads and writes fine, but over time it won’t let me access the files on it. It still sees the device, but not the files. I have to eject and replug in for it to begin reading it again. I’ve reformated to same results.

After barely more than one year, it died. I lost any pictures and music that I did not have stored elsewhere! This is junk!

I've used many WD portable and desktop drives and have been happy with all of them. So far this one has worked great!
