I bought this initially for my PS4 to store more games as my internal HDD was full and this works perfectly for storing a ton of games. It also works great with the PS5 as same thing applies to the PS5 as it did with the PS4.

I have alot of games on my Playstation and before I bought this 4TB hard drive I could only have a couple of games on my Playstation and now that I have bought it I can download all of my games so now I can play all 45 of my games whenever I want.

This is a great External drive for someone looking to store their information\data. Transfer rate when transferring about 100 GB of mix files ranged about 45MB to 100MB per sec which isn't bad for what i need it for. The 32GB Flash drive although small for the current norm, is still usable.

This hard drive has so much space for me to store everything that is important and it works great and is easy to use.

Even though I have a lot of storage on my Mac, this external drive gives me the ability to store all my videos and music, which take up a lot of space, off the computer but still have easy access to them. Plus the free 32GB flash drive was a nice touch.

This is a solid portable USB 3.0 drive. It is the highest capacity you can get in a compact size. Portable drives larger than 4TB tend to be noticeably thicker and heavier. Read speeds as tested on a Mac computer using "Black Magic Disk Speed Test" are around 112 MB/s for read and 110 MB/s for write. This is a good read/write speed for any application and is on par with other portable USB 3.0 hard drives. I tested a 1TB Seagate portable drive which got similars numbers. If you are in need of faster read/write speeds, your other option would be to get the desktop version of the WD external hard drive. I've tested the 4TB WD easystore Desktop external USB hard drive and that clocked read/write speeds of 171/171 MB/s respectively. The advantage though of getting this portable version (other than the smaller and more portable size) is that you don't need to connect a power supply to run it. You simply connect the USB cable and the drive will get it's power from the PC.

This external is perfect to use as extra space on my xbox one. All I did was plug it up to my laptop first to take anything extra off of it and then plug it right up to my xbox so that it could be formatted. The process was very simple and the xbox did all of the work.

This 4TB external drive is amazing for how much you can store. I use this device to keep my clients pictures backed up and offline. It's small enough to keep in my fire safe as a second backup. USB 3.0 allows fast transfers of files. When this 4TB fills up I plan to by another.

I put this drive into use immediately upon receipt. The included in the package, which is quite small, is the drive itself, the connecting cable, and a rudimentary, fold-out sheet of instructions in several languages. The instructions are unnecessary, as setup is extremely simple.

Gave this as a Baby Shower Gift to save the CRAZY amount of pictures that the new parents are bound to take. Figured they were safer on a stand alone drive with MASSIVE Storage, than keeping them on a Computer Hard Drive...I'm Old School and not a big fan of "the Cloud"...

Bought as a hard drive to store my movies, and don't regret buying it, still holds up and the good thing is that it has a good size of memory and really enjoyed that Best Buy made a bundle in which it included a little flash drive. must by but at Best Buy!

Perfect for use as a backup drive. I chose to use SW other than the SW included and seems to be working OK. USB 3.0 is supposedly faster but not seeing much difference between this and older 2TB USB2.0 HD. Could be that my laptop does not support 3.0 but really a big deal for me

I have an older version of the external hard drive (less space) and I thought it was small back then. This one is much smaller. I like the compactness and sleek look. I’ve had no issues with WD in the past and I’m sure non will arise in the future with this one

Got a great deal on this 4TB drive, so I went for another one. All my others are 1 TB. I tried a 2 TB once before but it would not work. This 4TB is accessible no problem. Seems a bit faster than the others which are all working after two to three years. Very satisfied so far!

Purchased this as an external harddrive for PS4. Met all expectations and then some. Fast upload and download, minimal size with maximum storage, and sleek black design. Assuming this works with the PS5, I'll be set for years maybe even decades.

I recently purchased this Portable Hard Drive for my Xbox One X. I needed another storage area for my games and videos. Thankfully this was on sale on Black Friday and walked away with a steal of a deal! Not to mention the 32gb Flash Drive as a bonus! Has not failed me yet!

I have used WD drives for backup purposes for 30 years, and never had a problem. I find them to be 100% reliable. I am always on the lookout for a sale on these beauties, and snatch some up on a regular basis. This unit had an exceptional price during the Black Friday sale.

I like the look and size of the hard drive. Set up was easy and has worked well so far. Good value.

Its a Western Digital external 2.5 inch usb 3.0 hard drive. Transfer speeds are mediocre at best. Definitely less than 75 megabytes a second sustained. This model is the same as the any other 2.5 4 TB drive except this one is in a slightly different plastic shell that is exclusive to Best Buy. If you need a small, mechanical backup drive pick this. If you are a Seagate fan, go buy one of those. This one works fine with Time Machine after a reformat.

Bought these as backup storage for my data and worked great without any issue. I had already owned Seagate external USB hard drive and I wanted the additional hard drive to keep my second copy of data. These came with additional USB 32GB flash drive which was great.
