I bought this portable HDD to back up all my personal stuff from my laptop. Works as intended. I really like it and of course, Best Buy had it on sale with a free 32GB Flashdrive as well.

I noticed some of our first born’s pictures were starting to lose their color so I decided to scan all pictures and needed a secondary backup without paying for cloud services

Needed more storage for my games on my PS4 and came across this product. Easy to setup as well. It's really delicate though, so don't drop it or it will essentially not work anymore

Always had good experience with WD drives and this portable drive is fast and reliable. It is small and fits neatly inside a small bag and light. I also received a 32G usb stick as a bonus.

Bought it to add more storage to the PS4 and it works great! I experience faster game updates when they are saved in the hard drive. Must buy if want more storage!

This came in handy for me. Love that it's compatible with mac and pc. My mac was already low on memory so i just copied all my files on my mac on to the drive and now my mac is good as new

Price paid was excellent for a 4TB unit not on sale. Drive USB 3.0 plug and play functioned properly. Loaded drive with almost 3TB backing up a database on it the first time it was connected. No issues with transfer to, or retrieval from, the drive. Transfer rates over the supplied USB 3.0 cable were fast.

Portable. 4TB is more than enough for storage of any type of files especially videos. Speedy and feels solid. Never had issues with WD in the past like the other reviewers mentioned.

Love the small size of this hard drive. It wrote to it pretty quick, at least it seemed quick to me. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that it has its own cord instead of a normal USB.

I'm using this drive to do automatic backups for my Mac. It works great and data transfers fast. However, I have to unplug it after 30 minutes, so no auto backups, because of how hot it gets. I'm pleased with it anyway. However, the small USB flash drive? Overheats within seconds of being plugged in. I tossed it.

I bought this WD $TB external drive for my daughter so she could backup and have all here photos and videos. She now can take them anywhere she wants with this portable drive.

Easy to set up , simple instructions, Lots of storage

I used the WB-Easystore to backup data on three laptops, one desk top. In addition, I download more pictures from my tablet. Easystore save the day for me!!!!!

I bought this drive to replace a failed backup drive for my wife's Mac, as it is 4 TB, and has a small footprint. Backups are fast, and I feel secure in knowing that I can do a restore.

The WD Easystore 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard drive is fast and compact at a reasonable price. I would like to have USB v3.1 2nd instead of 3.0 but it is still fast and reliable.

It’s safe plan for me to have it, it saved my old data and it comes with 32 gig pen drive also. It is light and almost silent when working. Data copy transfer is smooth. Satisfied.
