Did some research and was watching prices and this hard drive was great for backing up my system and keeping my pictures on it.

Works perfectly, small and compact for transport. No issues at all. Haven't had a Western Digital drive fail yet, and I have 8.

This took several tries to reformat to work with Mac OS due to incomplete write/erase processes on the drive disconnecting. Having issues setting it up to add to my Time Capsule for automatic backups. It's portable and small which is nice, but I purchased this to replace a larger, older MyBook that worked great but was just getting old. There are some issues with connecting this to my computer. I haven't tried again since the first data transfer but I haven't erased my old drive just in case this one fails. The jury is still out on this one.

No issues on this hard drive so far.. I love that this hard drive came with a portable flash drive.

Excellent portable storage for PS4 and XB1. Can store a ton of games for a large library of play.

Have a smaller one from Western Digital and love it. Great price for a ton of storage. Bought it to save my wife's pictures.

Portable device, with fast wire transfer, easy to take anywhere, plenty of space for storage, videos and files. Very practical.

This is a great size and just what I needed for storing our videos in order to free up space on my laptop.

It make everything much easier now i can store all my files and photos with out fulling my devices or getting out of space

I have lots of photos. My 4-TB or larger drives are usually desktop plug-ins but this was worth a try. I like it. It fits easily in my laptop bag. It does go into sleep or standby mode pretty quickly. That makes the wake-up delay a nuisance for photo editing and searching. But google gave me suggestions on keeping it awake that seem to work (time delay batch file). Transfer and backup rates are 80 - 120 MB / sec when you keep it engaged in a task so that is decent.

Needed more space on an external to back up my files. 3.0 has better speed and was easy to set up and use!!

I'm using this for backups with my acronis backup software. I've tried to this in various ways sometimes attaching the drive to my router which has a USB 3 port or directly to a laptop or other device or even attached to one of the ports on my network-attached storage. Haven't had any issues at all as usual we all worry a little bit about reliability with these backup devices so I tend to keep more than one of them around duplicate copies and duplicate storage with that said the price was awesome.

Very good price for 4TB of memory space. Recommended for everyone looking for an HDD.

I paired this with my 1tb Xbox One X and it has all sorts of room for everything i could want to have available for my Xbox.

The drive works as expected and the 32GB USB flashdrive was an extra bonus.

I have not yet used this particular one, but I have other external hard drives from this company and they always work great.
