    Took it right out of the box, hooked it up to a USB 3.0 and that was it. it came onto the screen, and I answered all the questions, and that was it. it was all ready to go. I plan on buying another one for my grandson, Mac laptop. to give him more hard drive space.

    First off it was connected to an XBOX 1. No problem with connection. I transferred 1TB to the drive and checked game performance. The drive was $9.00 more than Seagate 2T gaming drive. I would definitely would purchase again. My cost was $99.00, amazon has better price. I own an WD passport X 2T on same XBOX1, now 7T XBOX 1

    I got the hard drive when it was on sale and it was a steal. Having a 4TB hard drive that's portable is great for people with a lot of media files and want to transport them easily. I use mine as an external hard drive for my Xbox One, and it works great.

    I wanted to get a fairly large (4-5TB) portable USB drive to connect to system for backup. Portable was important because I wanted to avoid having a power brick for it. This drive did that and works like a champ for backing up my sister's computer.
