    the right size and the right price. extremely reliable and just works. I've used it on laptops, and desktops without issues and it holds a ton of stuff. I'm using mine for offline backups and images just in case my NAS goes south or gets compromised.

    I've tested this external out for use with both my Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Both recognize the hard drive and are easy to load game on to it. If you're like me, and previously had smaller external hard drives connected to your consoles, then you probably don't want to download a ton of games all over again manually (eating in to your time or data caps). I recommend using a disk clone program to copy the hard drive you already have to your new hard drive. If you choose this hard drive (which is great!), plan on being able to hold about 80 full size games on the drive, or more if you like smaller, indie titles. The other benefit to this hard drive has been the reduced load times. This depends heavily on the optimization of the game, but for some games the load times can be shorter by a full 10-15 seconds. I would recommend this to anyone looking to expand their space for gaming.
