I've tested this external out for use with both my Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Both recognize the hard drive and are easy to load game on to it. If you're like me, and previously had smaller external hard drives connected to your consoles, then you probably don't want to download a ton of games all over again manually (eating in to your time or data caps). I recommend using a disk clone program to copy the hard drive you already have to your new hard drive. If you choose this hard drive (which is great!), plan on being able to hold about 80 full size games on the drive, or more if you like smaller, indie titles. The other benefit to this hard drive has been the reduced load times. This depends heavily on the optimization of the game, but for some games the load times can be shorter by a full 10-15 seconds. I would recommend this to anyone looking to expand their space for gaming.

It's portable and good size. I got 3, one for me and two as gifts for friends.

I've been using this drive for about 3 weeks now. It is very reliable. It came with built-in software that allows me to schedule daily backups. It works great! This drive is reliable and has a lot of storage at an excellent price.

I primarily purchased this product as a second back up to our current 1Tb external hardrive. The price could not be beat for the storage amount since it was a deal of the day.

I use this with my Xbox One X, and it couldn't be simpler. Just plug in the included USB 3.0 cable, when the console prompts you, select yes to format the drive, and in 20 seconds you're good to go with lots of free space for your game files.

This is a good compact 4Tb HD which is compatible with both Windows and Mac. But the only CON is that in order to use the HD on both, you have to format the drive in between uses. It's not a shapeshifter or as versatile as I thought it would be. It kind of defeats the purpose of external storage if I have to format and lose everything in the process to switch from one OS to the other.

Bought it to expand my PS4 storage and it worked as intended. Good buy at $80
