    Bought this for my daughter who uses a Mac. Reformatted and setup fairly easy. Performs well. Very small and convenient to use without a power cord. Good value when on sale but you can save more if you are willing to deal with a power cord.

    I got this for a screaming deal of $65 for 4TB of external drive space. Always prefer WD over Seagate. Very fast transfer rate with USB 3 and no external power adapter needed. Perfect replacement for my older 1TB drive

    I use this to backup my computer. With USB 3, makes backup quick and painless. 4 TB is plenty to do many backups even without compression. Wait for a Best Buy deal of the day to get it an an even better price than than sale price.
