I use it mostly for storing images of hard drives. I am a computer technician and use imaging software like Acronis and it works well.

This hard drive is perfect for those who are looking to backup data or if you are like me and take a ton of pictures on your phone, so many that you used up all of your laptop storage. It also is small so it doesn't take up much space. You can easily slip it on a book shelf on top of some books or even in a drawer.

With all of the downloads I had, I managed to fill half of the 1TB hdd on the xbox one x. Bought this on sale, plugged it in, and transferred all downloads to it. Great purchase for what I use it for,

I have been using western digital for years. Good quality product. Not a fan of the software it uses. I use it for my MacBook to backup my computer with time machine.

This is a great external hard drive 4tb for my PlayStation 4. I was not sure of it working but it do and it was 84 dollars at bestbuy.

I bought the external hard drive for additional storage for my xbox one 500GB. I've played games directly from the drive and they have worked perfect. Since it is black it looks like part of my xbox.

I purchased this in Oregon so $99 no sales tax. Excellent price. 4TB seems like plenty of storage since 2TB was plenty large. It works fine and I will probably lose it or have it stolen before it breaks.

This is an external HD dream! The price is great! Only one cable is needed to connect it (no separate power cable)! It is plenty fast and has TONS of storage space. I now have two!

Works perfectly,plug and play compatibility with Xbox one X. The 4K enhanced games take up a ton of space so definitely something you will need at least one of if your playing the enhanced versions.

Bought this on a sale to back up my laptop. It works fine but there was a problem initially formatting it with my mac OS. I used Western Digital's utility which was able to format it for the mac and then I was able to format it for the new mac file system using the mac disk utility. Now all is well. Works fine.

I purchased this 4TB external drive to hold 4k video footage for editing with Adobe Premiere CC and it works much better than I expected. Very low imprint of work space. Great product.

Works with playstation and xbox game consoles. Wish it was SSD instead of HDD.
