This hard drive is a lot smaller that the rest of my external hard drives. Its easy to travel with and doesn't take up much space! I would totally recommend it to anyone.

great small pocket bound info holder, lots of room to hold too. lots of years to come of use, powers off its own plug in. works great and knowing everything is in one place helps.

This is my second drive. Everything is working as expected with great reliability. Price of the product was reasonable which makes it a great value for its quality and reliability.

4Tb and small footprint allows me to take it on the road and e certain that I have more than enough space. This is my second one and both continue to work fine!

I bought this for my xbox one. I have installed about 75 games and have only used about 15% of space. The real test will come to see if the hard drive can stand the test of time. Other hard drive I got for my consoles gave out on me and lost my data (Seagate). Great for gaming. 4 stars until this thing can go the distance

I needed to store my daughter's pictures since she was born in case of losing her all memories. So far it has no problem and it is small enough that I can even keep it in my fire safe.

I had been using a couple desktop ext 4tb hard drives to have file backups for remote work … this tiny 4tb solution fits nicely in my bag and does not require external power.

I recently acquired a portable hard drive with high hopes, but it failed to meet my expectations. The device's transfers were frustratingly slow, even for small files, leaving me disappointed. Additionally, the hard drive's bulkier form factor made it less portable than anticipated, which was inconvenient. On a positive note, the packaging was visually appealing, but it couldn't compensate for the shortcomings in performance and usability. In summary, this portable hard drive was a letdown due to its slow data transfers and a less-than-ideal form factor. Those prioritizing speed and true portability should explore other options.

I can't wait until SSD sizes increase and the prices come down in this space, but until then 4TB for 100$ is where it's at. I have two of these now, one hooked up to my Xbox One S and another in my briefcase for Elder Scrolls Online with plenty of extra room for anything large I need to transfer

Sleek and fast, easy to use. Easy to carry. WD Backup is also good.It does not support encryption of data by default

I was using 3 external drives before. One for photos, one for music, and one for videos. With 4 TB I can store it all on one drive. It works great. Plug and play, (use).

This external hard drive is perfect for backing up my work flash drive and for storing pictures. It's also compact enough to slip into my work bag for on the go usage.

I was so happy to find this, 4tb and it was the same price as 1tb by the same brand while it was onsale. More storage then I could imagine using and so compact!

Not what i was looking for but the real purpose of it is 100% good but had to return it because i needed an ssd not an hdd

Not much to say here. It's an external hard drive. Small size makes it easy to carry around anywhere you might need it. Storage space will keep you going for a long, long time.

Smooth transition when reformating this hard drive to Mac. I followed YouTube instructions and was able to device my hard drive into 4 partitions using 1Tb each for something different such as... 1TB for time machine...1TB for photos 1TB for documents and 1TB for school..works great.

As long as your computer has usb 3.0 the data transfer is super fast. This is when you see how much of a difference there really is between usb 2 and 3. I back up both my home computers, one has usb 3 the other just usb 2.

Unreal the amount of hard drive space this has-- 4TB!!!!! it transfers files very fast and is very compact size. Won't need more storage for a long while!! (LOL)

I bought this a few years ago. It still works just like it did when I first bought it. I have a lot of video files and programs saved in it.

Got this harddrive on sale. For a physically small hard drive, it is amazing that it holds 4TB. Read / write speed is acceptable for regular use. I take this hard drive on travel to store photos and videos from my camera, to free up more space to take more pictures. Very good value.
