Got this for my dad so that I could easily back up his laptop for him so he would not lose data from his computer. Small, compact and holds a lot of information.

EasyStore removes any excuse for not backing up your files. It's easy to use, has a really small footprint and it works! Oh, and the price is pretty easy to take.

Needed it for portable backup. Once re-formatted, works perfectly with timemachine on Mac. Just make sure you reformat when given the option when you start to use.

Great portable hard drive. Have several WD portables used mainly for backups. This one and the others have worked well for me without any problems.

This external storage is really nice for a lot of things: portability, backup, and acting as another drive should you need it! The cable is small however, so you'll need to buy a longer cable should you need too. Also, 4TB is huge! Unless you need to backup a lot. Then it doesn't seem like a whole lot.

Very nice hard drive. Small with an incredible amount of space. Easy to use for another drive or for back-ups. This works seamlessly with the Apple time machine.

There is a reason that this is such a good price. But you’ll have to decide if it’s worth it. Just be aware that the software that comes with this backup drive on the accompanying CD no longer is supported and DOES NOT WORK. You have to find compatible downloadable software yourself online. Once resolved, your back up will be working smoothly, no problem.

I got this for my PS4, and it is amazing. I didn’t take any time to format and move 300gb into the drive. It’s silent and low profile fits perfect next to the machine.

As usual, the WD drive was easy to setup and connect to. Now it also automatically installs the WD Discovery app. 4 TB is plenty of room to backup my pictures and docs!

Holds a lot of information. Works great with my PS4. However is processes a bit slower than I’m used to.

Very impressed with this HD, it has lots of storage at 4tb and runs off USB power, which makes it easy to setup and move around. Just plug in the usb cord and go.

This is a rather handy thing to have around. Easily carried in the Insignia™ - Hard Shell Case for Most Portable Hard Drives - Black I got with it. Smaller than a man's hand you could carry it pretty much everywhere. Some test results copying a 5GB file from my internal 1TB SSD drive: To my second internal 1TB SSD Drive (for comparison): about 11 secs @ 465MB/sec. (Note that's megaBYTES, not megabits. To my other external 2TB USB3 drive: 35 secs @ 145MB/sec To this drive: 46 secs @ 110 MB/sec. So reasonably fast and well priced. I recommend this to anyone looking for some good off-line storage.

Works great for storing my TV shows and movies, and It's easier to move from computer to tv than the larger external drives with power cords

This is a small footprint drive that uses the USB power to run it. Great for laptops or XBox One. Perfect size for most uses like backups or storage of games.
