I bought this to have more storage capacity for my ps4. Works great for what i use it for, rated 5 star for price, was pretty reasonable for the amount of tb.

I really like how it is very compact and portable. I overall really like lots of memory for my work. It connects to my laptop quickly and is nicely slim and portable.

Small portable external hard drive with a huge storage capability. Its a great item for the office, the students, or a movie library. Recommended for everyone.

Purchase for external PS4 hard drive due to lack of space. Serves its purpose, easy setup. Powered via USB, no external plug and connects direct to the PS4 for power.

Bought it to start loading PS4 games on my PS5 and it is fast at it's job. Setup was pretty simple, and so far it works like a champ and I was able to load some of those backwards compatible games on it

Bought this on the advice of my computer guru. He said it was more than I would need but the price was good. Transferred information from my desktop to external hard drive to open space. The hard drive is portable so I can use it on my laptop(also purchased at Best Buy) on the go.

Before I traveled with 7 different HDD. Now i have them all in one location and still space left. Much easier for a professional on the move, with limited space.

I purchased this external hard drive to back up everything on all computers in my home. I got this for $90 on sale at the store. It's pretty fast and I have seen speeds of 46MB/s to 112MB/s while transferring files using USB 3.0. I don't know why there's that much fluctuation, but it did stabilize to ~90MB/s when copying a single large file. It's not super loud or super hot. I haven't used the software yet so I can't comment on that. Overall it's a great hard hard drive at a great price. I can't believe how cheap 4TB is nowadays. I trust WD as well I've stuck with them for over a decade now.

Don't have to make tour PC slow. Can copy some of your files and have a "light" computer

It is plug and play, huge 4 TB storage for the price. I bought it for ~$110.00 when it was on sale, this will last me until the next storage technology, a great buy!

I had been using a Seagate external drive that started to stop backing up. Seagate would not support it any longer as I bought it a couple of years ago. So, I decided to replace it and wanted another brand as I was not happy with Seagate customer service. The guy at Best Buy suggested the WD drive and it was even on sale! It was simple to install and works like a charm. I use it as a mirror image of my HP Desktop, even though I also use Carbonite for file backup. Can't be too careful with my work files. I would highly recommend this drive.

I use mine for an external hard drive for the PS4. It’s awesome having so much extra space for games.

4TB use to be at premium price but with current pricing you could never go wrong to go big for the storage. a big bang for your bucks! i would recommend to buy.

Doesn't work with Windows XP or Vista but works fine with recent Windows OSes. 4TB for $80 - not bad.
